Real Democracy Movement are a group of academics and activists who believe we have to move beyond a social system dominated by corporate power and their political proxies. They are for a new, democratic constitution that transfers economic and political power from capitalism into the hands of the people.
We were approached with completed designs for an overhaul of their previous website which combined more contemporary aesthetics with a more user friendly interface, the previous site had not been updated in many years and sported a very early 2000s simple html vibe.
The site was constructed in WordPress using flexbox and required a significant amount of CFTs in order to display the full course details and the many articles and blog posts the site contained. Other functionality included links to donation sites and unfolding course directories.
This was to precede the launch of an e-learning site where users could take courses in politics and political philosophy.
