Cortex Training London is a online training centre specialising in event design, technical production and event management. Cortex have a selection of unique events industry focused courses that can be used for businesses to train staff with new skills or for freelancers to improve their employability.
Their core set of courses has been expanded over the years to include both more technical aspects like AutoCAD and Events Electrics and more production based courses around Artist Liaison, Stage Management and event pre-production.
I was approached to overhaul the site to client provided specs for unity of design and functionality, including a mobile responsive tab system to display the various course information. Overall this involved a great many small changes which when combined affected a far better user experience and provide more clarity.
The challenge here was to make changes within an already packed format without breaking the existing code or ruining the mobile formatting. The responsive tabs on the course pages also required javascript and some intricate styling.
