Pirate Grips are an independent grip services and equipment company which approached me to build them a simple website in order to provide them with a web presence for the first time. The resulting site is 4 pages built in WordPress with a javascript masonry style gallery, credits and contact page.

Pirate Grips and companies like them often operate for years in the relatively familial world of the film industry without the need for traditional marketing, rather relying on positive word of mouth and organically grown networks. However, like many such companies they also wanted a permanent web presence.
This build was challenging in that the masonry gallery that the client requested was necessarily a javascript entity and as a result I was required to work with a language of which I had little previous experience. In the end I was happy with the gallery and pleased that I was able to troubleshoot in an unfamiliar format.
Another benefit of this work was that I became privy to some amazing industry anecdotes. Like, you know that one guy? Yep, he is the absolute worst.
